Privacy Policy

Your data, handled with care

This policy explains how HyLoq AI handles personal and platform data. It is aligned with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Data Collection

We collect only the data needed to deliver resource intelligence, including account details, profile information you provide, and signals you contribute. We practice data minimisation by default.

Location Data

To deliver hyperlocal intelligence we may process approximate or region-level location. We do not require precise GPS tracking, and location sharing can be limited to your chosen region.

Usage Data

We collect aggregate usage data — pages viewed, features used and interactions — to improve the platform. Usage data is used in aggregate and is not sold.

Supplier Data

Supplier business details, prices, inventory and availability submitted through the Supplier Portal are stored historically with timestamps to support transparency and future trend analysis. Records are not overwritten.

Community Submissions

Signals submitted through the NeighborGrid Network (such as community price reports) may be displayed in anonymised, aggregate form. We do not publicly attribute individual submissions without consent.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. Historical resource signals may be retained in aggregate to support long-term trend analysis.

Data Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit, role-based permissions and row-level security to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your data is processed.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure or blocking of your data, subject to legal limits.
  • Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication and payments. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards and only as needed to operate the platform.

Future AI Services

As the Pulse Intelligence Engine evolves, AI features will be used to generate insights from aggregated signals. We will not use your personal data to train models without a clear, lawful basis and appropriate notice.

Data Sharing Limitations

We do not sell personal data. Sharing is limited to service providers under contract, aggregated or anonymised insights, and disclosures required by law. Premium intelligence is access-controlled to subscribers.
