Question 1

What is HyLoQ?

Accepted Answer

HyLoQ is a national resource intelligence platform. It collects hyperlocal resource signals through the NeighborGrid Network and turns them into actionable intelligence with the Pulse Intelligence Engine. It is not a marketplace and not merely a price tracker — it is decision-support infrastructure for everyday resilience.

Question 2

What is the NeighborGrid Network?

Accepted Answer

NeighborGrid is the signal layer of the platform — a hyperlocal network that gathers prices, availability, demand and supply conditions from government, supplier and community sources across regions.

Question 3

What is the Pulse Intelligence Engine?

Accepted Answer

Pulse is the intelligence layer. It analyses signals from NeighborGrid to generate labelled, rule-based insights such as price volatility, below-average pricing, rising fuel costs, growing demand and declining supply — each with a signal strength and confidence level. Pulse does not yet perform real forecasting.

Question 4

How are prices collected?

Accepted Answer

Prices come from three source types: government and official datasets, verified suppliers, and community submissions through NeighborGrid. Each price carries a source attribution, confidence score and last-updated timestamp.

Question 5

How are suppliers verified?

Accepted Answer

Suppliers progress through verification levels — from unverified to community-verified, verified supplier, verified partner and verified official. Verification considers business identity, location, category and submission history.

Question 6

What are Demand Clusters?

Accepted Answer

Demand Clusters are a premium, subscriber-only feature that identifies geographic demand concentrations and group-buying opportunities from NeighborGrid signals. Public users see only anonymised aggregate market insights.

Question 7

What is Demand Exchange?

Accepted Answer

Demand Exchange is a premium subscriber tool where verified suppliers respond to aggregated, qualified demand. It is intelligence-led procurement, not a public listings marketplace.

Question 8

How is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

We align with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. Location and usage data are minimised, access-controlled and retained only as long as necessary. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on your rights.

Question 9

How accurate are Pulse Insights?

Accepted Answer

Every Pulse insight is labelled with a confidence level and signal strength, and marked as a data-driven insight or forecast preview. Pulse augments — it does not guarantee outcomes. Always treat insights as decision-support, not certainty.

Question 10

How do subscriptions work?

Accepted Answer

Public intelligence (Commodity, Fuel and Exchange Watch, Pulse Insights, Supplier Directory) is free. Premium subscriber tools — Demand Exchange and the Demand Cluster Engine — require an active subscription for household, MSME or supplier accounts.
